Redeemers Health and Community Awareness, Inc. also known as Redeemers Wellness Center was founded by Dr. Kwabena Sarpong, lovingly referred to as Pastor Kobby, who is also the Senior Pastor of Redeemers Church of Christ – better known as Redeemers Chapel.
Dr. Kobby has led numerous endeavors to serve both his community and various charitable programs, including the well known Mega Health Fair which services Lanham, MD with numerous free services, including health screenings, health education, back-to-school and food giveaways, and more. He’s an appointed member of the African Diaspora Advisory, an International Distinguished Leadership Awardee, and he alongside his wife, Pastor Elizabeth Sarpong, was honored with United States of America Lifetime Achievement award conferred upon him by President Joe Biden.
The Redeemers Wellness Center was founded to focus on continuing to serve Lanham, MD and the Prince George's County community with a focus on health and wellness, disease prevention and control, and promoting healthy lifestyle outreach programs for residents within Prince George's County.

Who We Are
Redeemers Health and Community Awareness, Inc. also known as Redeemers Wellness Center is located in Lanham, MD. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing disease prevention, control, and promoting healthy lifestyles within a five-mile radius.
Our free services range from chronic disease screenings to family counseling, offering exercise and diet information, medication management education, and much more. Our vision is to expand our reach, enhance our services, and construct a new two-floor wellness center.
